I find myself changing my livejournal style almost monthly. When I make the change I really like what I've changed to, but then it grows stale. Currently my style is Minimalism Autumn Time. I've not found one that really stands the test of time with me, do you have one?

Which are you using?

Does anyone have a vga cabled monitor, or a vga to DVI adapter I could borrow? I need to do a final sweep of some old hardware before I decide what to do with it and this would keep me from lugging the systems upstairs to hook up to the TV.

I used to take 3 different magazines monthly. I stopped the practice for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the bulk and the availability of the content on line. However I'm pondering some new subscriptions but am not quite sure...

So the question to you is: Do you subscribe to any dead-tree editions of periodicals? If so, why this method rather than on line? Which ones (if you care to share)?

Looking back at my childhood, have no memory of anyone I ever consider "my hero". Sure I would have loved to fly like Superman, or be a Jedi like Luke. But growing up, I have no recollection of want to be like ...

My first thought is outrage, this seems like common sense to shield children from such things. Over the holidays we spent a lot of time with my in laws. Whenever watching TV my brother-in-law was ready at the remote in case an ad for Black Christmas would come on because he didn't think his 7 year old daughter needed to see that kind of thing. I thought it was great that he did that.

Or am I just getting conservative in my old age?

So, having a conversation with solcita about the general lack of time to do all that one wants to do in the limited amount of time reality gives us. This inevitably led to the idea of having a clone, to which my mind came up with this gem:
